It’s the stream of water that keeps us alive in every moment. One-fifth weight weigh of our body is formed by water in various forms. The life-flow of the human being, the plants, and the other creatures is completely depends on water. Water the quintessential element for all of us and for the birds....!!
Being the superior creature on the earth, human can somehow manage to source out streams of water during adverse living condition like being relocated to the miles long expanded lands of sands or during a prolonged season of acute drought across the regions. Here the topic is about water supply to the birds during summertime or drought. Do you know, how helpless those colorful flying creature….many of the birds dies in the summer month’s just lack of water.
The summer of 2010 is riding to its peak and causalities are going to set a new record. The global warming, fast urbanization, and industrial processing units all are contributing very badly and sadly we are going to suffer more and more. The temperature has already crossed 37 degree Celsius. Many birds die due to lack of water. You may save their lives: Place water pots in your house’s terraces, compound wall, and balconies to help the thirsty birds with a regular source of water.
Setting up bird houses is a good effort in saving the bird population from the scorching summer. During the summer month, agricultural production gets hampered because of scanty rainfall and heat wave all over the regions. The birds find it hard to source out sufficient food grains from the baron lands. In summer, a substantial bird population dies due to shortage of food. Though, installation of a bird house at your rooftop may save at least the lives of a few birds but, it’s a generous effort in saving the birds. Keep two pots in your bird house, a pot filled up with water and the other with food grains like wheat, pulses, rice etc. Interestingly, within a few days after setting up the bird house, some birds would settle down and accept it as a regular nest. They happily live in that adobe, plays, and lay eggs. Won’t it be beautiful?
